SIR Bobby Charlton drew in the crowds at Booths Park yesterday, Thursday, as he signed shirts for his charity aiding war-torn communities.
The World Cup winner and Manchester United legend, 80, founded Find a Better Way in 2011 to provide humanitarian assistance in landmine afflicted areas.
At an event on Thursday, he signed shirts bought in aid of the charity, bringing in such demand that the event has been extended into tomorrow, Saturday.
Although Sir Bobby will not be in attendance, pre-signed shirts and merchandise will be on sale at Booths Park from 10am until 2pm.
