THERE is heavy traffic following two crashes on ice near the new fire station in Lymm.
The first accident happened on the A50 near to Poplar 2000 services around 6.55am when a car went into a wall.
The second happened around 7.15am with slippery road conditions being blamed for both incidents.
Both ways are partially blocked.
Police have reported the incident to highways officials because of the conditions on the road.
