NORTHWICH, WINSFORD AND MIDDLEWICH

December 9 – Manchester Markets charity trip, with pick-ups from Byley, Middlewich, Winsford and Northwich en-route to Manchester. The trip is in support of Smile Train. Tickets cost £15. For more information call Susan Barron on 01606 557386.

December 10 to January 1 – The Grange Theatre cast will perform The Wizard of Oz for its Christmas pantomime. Tickets are limited and are available at thegrangetheatre.com or by calling 01606 539040.

December 11 – Delamere Forest 41 Club Father Christmas float. Acton Bridge – The float will leave Milton Rough (outside Milton Chapel) about 6pm and travel along to Hill Top Road, Strawberry Lane, Cliff Road, Bancroft, Wetton Lane, Chapel Lane, Orchard Avenue, Pear Tree Lane and to Manor Farm & return. Listen for the Christmas music and the bells and bring your children (young & old) out to meet him, don’t forget your Christmas lists.

December 12 – Delamere Forest 41 Club Father Christmas float.  Delamere Park – The float will leave Delamere Park Community Centre car park at 6pm to travel round as many roads as possible.

December 13 – Delamere Forest 41 Club Father Christmas float.  Norley – The float will leave Tigers Head at 6pm to travel around the village.

December 14 – Delamere Forest 41 Club Father Christmas float. Delamere – The float will leave Delamere Village Hall at 6pm and travel along the main road to the Abbey Arms then call into the new estate on the righthand side. 

December 16 – Christmas party for SEN children. Bouncy castle, soft play, food and music for children under 10. Tickets £5. Middlewich Leisure Centre.

WILMSLOW AND KNUTSFORD

December 1 to 3 – High Legh Christmas Tree Festival returns to St John’s Church in The Avenue.

1pm to 4pm Friday and Sunday, 10am to 6pm Saturday, with soup, sandwiches and cake available and a programme of live music throughout.

December 2 – Knutsford Methodist Church Christmas Craft Fair 10 am to 4pm.

Local craft stalls, cakes, refreshments and light lunches. In aid of Knutsford Stroke Club, The Welcome Church and Hampers of Hope.

December 2 – Santa and his trusted reindeer visit Knutsford in the Reindeer Parade, heading along King Street and Minshull Street into Canute Place from 5pm.

December 2 – Canute Place will be transformed into a mini-arena with hot food, drinks and live entertainment for the Knutsford Christmas lights switch-on.

Local musicians, dancers and community/school choirs will bring festive cheer to the town from 1pm ready for the switch-on at 6pm.

December 2 - The Hall at Marthall, Christmas Fair at 2pm.

December 2 and 3 – Knutsford Christmas Market brings a two-day festive street market, with an array of Cheshire’s finest artisan foods, handmade crafts and unique gift ideas.

Local produce and tasty treats on offer will make perfect presents. Noon to 7pm Saturday, 11am to 4pm Sunday.

Santa will be in his Silk Mill Street grotto on both days, handing out presents and raising money for CAFT. There will also be fairground rides in the Princess Street car park. See more at knutsfordtowncouncil.gov.uk.

December 2-3 and 9-10 – Knutsford Explorer Scouts Christmas tree sales at Mobberley Scout Hut. Delivery available. In aid of Jamboree fundraising.

December 4 – Brewhouse and Kitchen, Swan Street, Wilmslow – Christmas charity quiz for East Cheshire Hospice. 7pm. For details call 01625 441850.

December 5 to 22 - except Sundays and Mondays), December 27 to 30 and January 3 to 6 

Winter Wonderland at Knutsford Heritage Centre. Find the Snowmen competition for accompanied children with a draw for a mystery prize, take a selfie with our life-size snowman, browse our decorated shop and find your house or school on the Tapestry. Knutsford Heritage Centre, 90A King Street. We will then be closed from January 7 until Tues 30 January)

December 7 to 9 – Alderley Edge Library – Christmas badge making.

December 8 – Knutsford Star Choir’s annual Christmas concert will be held at Knutsford Methodist Church starting at 7.30pm.

Refreshments will be served during the interval. Tickets cost £8 for adults and £5 for children and are available from Di Healey on 07970 798650 or pay on the door, with all proceeds to the Children's Adventure Farm Trust.

December 9 – Knutsford’s annual lantern parade leaves The Moor at 5pm, parading through the town centre displaying an array of decorated lanterns.

December 9 – St Bart’s Church, Wilmslow – Lindow Singers and Poynton RBL presents A Christmas Concert. 7.30pm. For tickets ring 01625 611124
