FOOTBALLING legend Sir Bobby Charlton will be back signing shirts in Knutsford next week.

World Cup winner and Manchester United icon Sir Bobby, 80, will be at Booths Park during an event from 10am until 3pm on Thursday, November 30 on behalf of his charity Find a Better Way.

Shirts will be on sale for £15 at the event at Philpotts in Booths Park, with all proceeds going directly to the charity.

The charity was founded in 2011 by Sir Bobby following a visit to a minefield in Cambodia, where he saw the injuries and devastation caused by landmines in war-torn areas.

It supports research projects at leading UK universities, helps fund groundbreaking technology for the safe removal of landmines and explosive remnants of war, and provides humanitarian assistance in afflicted areas.
