OFFICERS are appealing for information after a medical car was stolen from Oulton Park.

A silver BMW X5, which is used to provide medical assistance for racegoers, was taken from the race track shortly before 2.40pm on Tuesday, November 14.

Ch Insp Simon Meegan, from the Northwich local policing unit, said: "Enquiries in relation to this incident are ongoing and part of the investigation I’m keen to hear from anyone who believes that they may have seen the stolen vehicle.

"The vehicle, a Sliver BMW X5 estate, is branded as the ‘Oulton Park Medical Car’ and is easily recognisable.

"We are currently trying to establish what equipment was in the car when it was stolen.

"We believe the vehicle may have travelled towards Chester."

Anyone with information in relation to the incident should call police on 101, quoting incident number 470 of November 14.
