THE winners of Holmes Chapel Parish Council’s photography competition have been announced.
The adult winner was Nigel Taylor for his shot of St Luke’s under a night sky.
Natasha Mitchell won the junior prize for her artistic shot of a lamppost with pampas grass.
Cllr John Clowes said: “The competition aims to encourage us all to look at and appreciate the many attractive and interesting features of our village.
"Many thanks go to those who presented us with their varied entries for the competition."
The parish council is now looking forward to receiving entries for the competition next year, with the theme to be publicised in spring 2018.
