PEOPLE of Knutsford will gather this Remembrance Sunday to remember those who gave their lives for their country at war.

On Sunday, November 12, town mayor Cllr Neil Forbes and Fire Cadet Jack Murphy will lay wreaths at the town’s war memorials

8.45am, service at St Cross Church, Mobberley Road.

9.20am, wreath-laying and prayers at Cenotaph opposite St Cross Church.

10am, parade assembles at Drury Lane (Ruskin Rooms).

10.15am, parade sets off from Drury Lane to St John’s Church, Church Hill.

10.45am, St John’s Church service.

Noon, end of service, parade back to Drury Lane.

12.30pm, prayers and wreath-laying at the War Memorial Hospital, Northwich Road.

1.30pm, wreaths at Parachute Regiment Memorial, Tatton Park.
