FIREFIGHTERS released a casualty from a car after a crash on the M56 eastbound this morning, November 8.
Crews were called out to a collision involving two cars between junction 10 at Stretton and 9 at Lymm at 6.52am.
One fire engine from Runcorn, one from Lymm and one from Warrington all attended the incident, along with paramedics.
Firefighters released one casualty from a car before handing them over to paramedics.
The carriageway was cleared at 7.30am, but motorists heading from the Wirral towards Northwich have faced delays of up to 30 minutes from junction 12 at Runcorn.
