A LUNCH in support of a children's charity brought out the best of Knutsford's fundraising spirit.

The event at Piccolino in King Street was supported by a host of businesses and saw guests treated to a speech from Mike Hymanson, the chairman of children's charity Destination Florida.

The charity organises life-enhancing biennial trips to Florida for around 75 children from across the UK, with the eight-day getaway taking in all the major theme parks and allowing for relaxation, shopping and entertainment.

A huge raffle at the lunch, supported by companies including the Lost and Found, Gusto, The Edit, The White Orchid, Piccolino, Bare Necessities, Chilli Banana, Mere Golf Club, The Lambing Shed, The Botanist, On Church Hill and Yankee Candle, made for a huge fundraiser for the cause.
