ADAM Jenkinson has collected the points he needed to secure a top-five finish in the Pirelli National Superstock 1000 Championship.
The Knutsford rider, confidence buoyed by claiming a fourth successive Anglesey Grand title the previous weekend, crossed the line 10th in the season’s final race.
He had matched the front-runners’ pace in practice on board his Northern Escalator Installations Racing BMW, classifying fourth and third respectively.
However an off at the hairpin during qualifying cut short his involvement, and he had to settle for 11th spot on the grid.
The 33-year-old, who lives at Bucklow Hill, climbed the order during Sunday’s sprint at the Kent circuit, where Richard Cooper crossed the line first.
However Danny Buchan, who was second behind him, claimed the title. Jenkinson pipped Mason Law to fifth.
