AGE UK is looking ahead to another ‘Top Notch’ shopping event in Knutsford.

The east Cheshire branch of the charity is running the event for the second time this year on the weekend of September 29 to October 1, coinciding with International Older Persons Day and the Makers Market.

The King Street charity shop will be selling ‘top notch’ clothes and accessories at knock down prices, with opening hours of 9am to 5.30pm on Friday and Saturday, and noon to 4pm on Sunday.

Caroline Noden, manager of the Knutsford store, said: “We get some really interesting and often designer items donated by people in the town which we sell at Top Notch for discount prices.

"The event has become really popular and there is usually a queue outside the door at 9am so make sure you get here early!”

The previous event raised more than a week’s worth of income over two days.
