THE Knutsford Community First Responders Trust is looking for young adults to take advantage of a free heart screening event later this month.

The Trust is running its third Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) screening event on Saturday, September 23, at Knutsford Methodist Church in Princess Street.

At the events, which are fundraised by Knutsford residents and businesses, up to 100 people aged between 14 and 35 can get a free heart check-up from CRY doctors.

The process, which allows patients to book a time slot to suit them, involves an electrocardiogram, or ECG. Some may also undergo an echocardiogram, and the next step is a referral to a GP.

Send an email to adrianrees@heartstartknutsford.co.uk with your name, age and contact details to book a slot on September 23.
