TWIN brothers from Knutsford will take part in gruelling back to back 'Tough Mudder' events in September to raise money for the East Cheshire Hospice.

James and Rick Aston, 26, and who both live in the Shaw Heath area of the town, will be completing the 'Double Mudder' on the weekend of September 9 and 10.

Over the course of the weekend the duo will be facing at least 24 miles of mud, ice baths, electric shocks, and plenty of other obstacles to test them both mentally and physically.

"We have decided that we would do a little something for charity this year," they told the Guardian

"After contemplating a few challenge ideas like swimming the length of Tatton lake underwater or a sponsored pub crawl we decided that they would be to easy.

"In the end we decided to do a full weekend of Tough Mudder for the East Cheshire Hospice.

"The hospice need to raise raise more than £7,500 each and every day to maintain the levels of care they provide.

"A donation of any amount will be highly appreciated as it means we will be getting closer to the goal!
