TWO charity fun days will run back to back this Saturday, July 22, as volunteers at the National Citizen Service (NCS) raise funds for good causes.

Between noon and 4pm, NCS 'Team 12' - a group of 13 students taking part in a summer programme - will set up stalls and a bouncy castle at the Courthouse Hotel in Toft Road.

The event will raise money for The Joshua Tree Foundation, a charity supporting children with terminal cancer and their families.

From 5pm to 8pm at the Victoria Club in Holmes Chapel, the NCS Middlewich branch are putting on a festival featuring stalls, games, a raffle and live music.

As well as raising money for The Joshua Tree, proceeds from the day will also go to the One Love Manchester fund, set up in the wake of the arena attack in May.
