POLICE in Crewe are hunting three men who are wanted in connection with a serious assault that took place in the town this summer.

Officers are appealing for the public’s help in tracing three men wanted in relation to the attack on Dunwoody Way in Crewe on Sunday, June 18.

Steven Taker, 35, Damian Clough, 28, and Derek Cornes, 32, are all from Crewe.

Det Insp Duncan Gouck, from Crewe Local Policing Unit, said: “Following a number of lines of enquiry we want to trace these three men in connection with a serious assault.

“I would urge anyone who has seen these men or knows of their whereabouts to not approach them directly but to contact police on 101.

“I also want to remind people of the consequences of assisting a suspect in evading the police. If you know of their whereabouts and you don’t contact officers you could be committing a criminal offence.”

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Cheshire Police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously by calling 0800 555 111.
