AN outbuilding fire scorched the roof of an electricity substation in Stanley Road yesterday.
Fire crews from Knutsford, Northwich and Altrincham were called to the incident at 4.28pm on Sunday, June 26, finding the property alight.
Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet to put out the blaze.
A thermal imaging camera was used to check for hotspots, and a window was removed from the outbuilding before it was damped down.
Firefighters were at the scene, at Stanley Road's junction with the trading estate, for around 90 minutes.
Knutsford Police Sgt Kelly Johnson posted on Twitter: "No injuries. Incident safely resolved thanks to the quick response of the crews."
