FIREFIGHTERS wearing breathing apparatus tackled a tumble dryer fire in Holmes Chapel yesterday.
Three fire engines attended the incident in Elm Drive at 2.41pm, where a tumble dryer was on fire in a garage.
Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet to extinguish the blaze.
