A KNUTSFORD out-of-school club is looking for a new proprietor to take the helm.

Budeez, which operates from St John’s Church centre in Church Hill, is rated as outstanding by Ofsted – the Government’s education watchdog – and has a capacity for up to 40 children.

Set up in 2000, it provides before and after-school childcare during term time – with potential to operate all-year-round – with a minibus also included.

Budeez has use of a large ground floor playroom, which has a partition to split the space in two, and a playroom has direct access to the grassed grounds of the church.

The club also boasts its own kitchen, allocated storage and locker space, as well as access to the church toilet facilities and stunning main hall.

The club has a management team in place, consisting of the current proprietor, a club manager and an office manager, alongside a full complement of experienced auxiliary staff.

Sofia Beck, childcare business agent at Christie & Co’s Manchester office, said: “Budeez offers an excellent opportunity for either a first time buyer or an existing experienced operator looking for a profitable addition to their existing portfolio.

“As the business is management-run there is a great investment opportunity for a new owner, who would need little involvement in the day-to-day running of the business.

“There are numerous factors currently influencing the childcare sector including the proposal for additional free childcare and the impact of the National Living Wage. Christie & Co is well placed to provide advice to operators during this exciting time for the industry.”

Christie & Co is seeking offers around £75,000 for the leasehold interest.
