Chimney fire extinguished by Knutsford crew
A CREW from Knutsford fire station put out a small chimney fire in High Legh on Saturday evening.
The engine, from the Mobberley Road station, was called at 6.16pm to put out the fire in Peacock Lane in the village.
Chimney rods were used by firefighters to put out a small fire in a Peacock Lane house chimney.
The chimney was then fully inspected to make sure there were no further hot spots.
