KNUTSFORD kept alive their hopes of finishing first in the Warrington and District Winter League’s second tier after brushing aside Northwich Sapphires seconds last Wednesday.
In-form centre Abi Cocksedge was picked as their player of the match for a third successive game following a 41-19 victory.
They trail leaders Warrington Town seconds by a single point with one match left.
Knutsford thirds lost 31-21 against Saints seconds in Division Two, when goalkeeper Sasha Morgan-Manley was the best performer on court.
