A NURSERY is celebrating receiving the highest possible rating following an inspection by education watchdog Ofsted.

Kids Allowed, in Mobberley Road, was rated outstanding by inspectors across all four criteria following a visit at the beginning of March.

The report, published on March 24, highlighted ‘consistent and effective’ leadership as well as ‘eager and happy learners’.

Jennie Johnson MBE, chief executive of Kids Allowed, said: “We are exceptionally proud of every member of our team, they are truly dedicated to provide outstanding service and care to every child who attends Kids Allowed.

“We are delighted that this is reflected in the Ofsted Inspection report and that we have received an outstanding rating for Kids Allowed Knutsford.”

Kids Allowed introduced ‘Your Day, Your Way’ at the Knutsford centre last year, offering parents the flexibility to choose and pay for the hours they need rather than a standard day with fixed rates.

Parents can also claim their free funded hours at Kids Allowed.

The nursery had previously been rated as good, the second highest of the four Ofsted ratings, at an inspection in May 2013.

Inspections involve speaking to parents, children and staff.
