Firefighters save horse stuck in horsebox in Allostock
FIREFIGHTERS came to the rescue of a horse after it became stuck in Allostock yesterday afternoon.
A fire engine from Knutsford was called to Middlewich Road just before 3.15pm, with a horse reported to be stuck over a barrier in a horsebox.
A Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "A vet sedated the animal so that firefighters could use cutting equipment to remove the barrier and enable the horse to be rescued."
