By-election called for town council vacancy
CHESHIRE East Council has given notice of a by-election for a Knutsford Town Council vacancy which, if contested, will take place on May 4.
Electors now have until April 4 to nominate candidates for the by-election, which will see a new town councillor represent the Over ward following the resignation of Yvonne Bancroft in February.
The by-election has been called as a result of at least 10 electors requesting one since Ms Bancroft resigned.
