KNUTSFORD’S seconds concluded a testing campaign in the Warrington and District Winter League’s top-flight with a defeat to Northwich Sapphires.
Goal-shooter Chrissie Stubbs was picked as their best performer during a 48-33 reverse on Wednesday.
It was a better evening for Knutsford’s firsts, who continue to lead the way in Division One following a 44-31 win against Beechwood’s seconds.
Wing-attack Kim O’Hanlon received the player of the match nomination.
On Saturday, Knutsford celebrated successive wins in the Cheshire Elite League for the first time this season when they registered a 53-24 victory against Ladyhawks.
It leaves them sixth in the standings with three rounds left.
