OFFICERS investigating a serious fatal collision on the A556 on Monday morning have named the man involved.
At 6.45am on Monday, February 6, a red Nissan Juke collided with a pedestrian in Tabley, close to the junction of the A556 and Northwich Road.
The pedestrian, Radek Tabor, 24-years-old and from the Czech Republic, died at the scene.
His next of kin have been informed.
It is believed Mr Tabor was walking to work at the nearby Knutsford Services when the collision happened.
The road was closed for more than three hours while investigations took place.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact Cheshire Police on 101 quoting incident 90 of 6 January.
