KNUTSFORD MP, George Osborne, has been getting to know more about trials and tribulations faced by the farmers in his Constituency.
Mr Osborne attended the annual meeting of the National Farmers’ Union Tatton Branch to discuss the issues affecting local farmers.
This year’s meeting was held at the potato farm of Great Warford resident, Martyn Reade.
The meeting gave farmers the opportunity to discuss with Mr Osborne the ongoing matters such as the effects of Brexit on the farming industry.
Mr Osborne said: “As Tatton’s MP I represent many rural communities. Farming is a vital sector of the British economy and Tatton’s farmers give us world-class produce. It is only right that I help them in any way I can, both locally and nationally.”
