COMMITTEE members from Knutsford’s popular annual beer festival have handed over money to two town-based organisations.
Knutsford and District Scouts and Egerton Youth Club were both given £1,500 each, which was generated from this year’s festival held at the club on Mereheath Lane.
All of the beer festival’s surplus funds go to Knutsford-based nominated charities.
Gaynor Clifton, secretary of Egerton Youth Club, said :”I just wanted to say a massive thank you on behalf of the youth club and football club for the funds raised from the beer festival on our behalf – it really is greatly appreciated.”
Martin Relton, from Knutsford and District Scouts, added: “I’m delighted that the event was a success for you and the money raised for Knutsford Scouts is very much appreciated.”
