THIS weekend sees the beginning of Knutsford’s Christmas celebrations with the markets and lights switch on in the town centre.
On Saturday, December 3 the markets will line Princess Street, trading from 12pm to 7pm and also on Sunday from 11am to 5pm.
There will be entertainment in Canute Place 1pm to 7pm on Saturday afternoon, with the lights switch-on at 6pm.
The reindeer parade will set off around the town from 5pm and there will be will be a rolling road closure along King St from 5pm to 5.30pm to enable Santa and his reindeer to parade through the town.
Canute Place will be closed from 7am to 8pm on Saturday to enable the stage to be set up for the light switch on.
Princess Street will close from 7am to 8pm on Saturday and from 6am to 7pm on Sunday for the Christmas Market. For more information please call 01565 652929.
