A HOLIDAY provider on the outskirts of Holmes Chapel has scooped up a prestigious marketing award.

Cheshire Country Holidays, which has a 16th Century farmhouse in Blackden Heath near Jodrell Bank, won the ‘self-catering property of the year’ award in the annual Marketing Cheshire awards.

The judges crowned the company as the winner based on its ‘excellent’ customer service, positive customer reviews and ever-developing outlook towards customer experience.

Tracy Platt, manager at Cheshire Country Holidays, said “We are delighted and honored to receive the award, as it is tribute to the passion, commitment, and hard work of everyone at Cheshire Country Holidays, who help ensure that 365 days a year we deliver a service and quality to people who have chosen to stay at Brookbank Farm.”

Cheshire Country Holidays joins tourism moguls Tatton Park to pick up one of the awards.

Katrina Michel, chief executive of Marketing Cheshire, said “Cheshire’s tourism industry really is going from strength to strength and this has been one of our most competitive years yet, reflecting our unique products and the high quality of our tourism offer across the board.”

“These awards are a true celebration of the wealth of innovative, creative and dynamic businesses that are contributing to our fast growing visitor economy and supporting our aim to build Cheshire’s reputation as a leading national and international visitor destination.”
