MORLEY are adrift at the bottom of the Knutsford and District Amateur League’s Division One table after suffering a fifth successive defeat on Thursday.
They lost at champions Mobberley A, leaving them as the only top-flight side yet to register a victory this season.
Mobberley B climbed from the relegation zone after winning at Wilmslow Cons A, while Alderley Union and Shaw Heath edged Tatton and Brook Street A respectively.
Three teams – Mobberley C, Wilmslow Cons B and Wilmslow RBL – are tied on 22 points at the top of the second tier.
They have identical records after Mobberley C inflicted a first defeat of the campaign on Wilmslow Cons B, while Wilmslow RBL won 5-2 at Mere B.
Mere A lost on aggregate to clubmates Mere C, while Brook Street B saw off Mobberley D.
