I WISH to express my concern at the somewhat critical correspondence you have received suggesting that George Osborne’s lack of attention to his constituents problems.

For the last seven months I have had trouble with Vodafone concerning their failure to operate their direct debit system properly.

In desperation I reported Vodafone to the Ombudsman Services but they unfortunately take several weeks to deal with complaints.

A friend suggested I contact our MP’s office and following a telephone conversation with them I delivered my file of correspondence to them on July 5.

Only two days later I received a telephone call from a lady at Vodafone to say they had heard from our MP concerning the complaint and within a further four days Vodafone had resolved all the problems.

Accordingly I cannot think of a more helpful and conscientious MP than George Osborne.
