PRINCESS Street Pre-Schoolers celebrated the Queen’s 90th birthday on Tuesday and said goodbye to a long-serving member of staff.
The ‘Little Superstars’ took part in games and activities including a crown-making session, complete with extravagant decorations.
The children enjoyed jelly and ice-cream and ate birthday cake after singing Happy Birthday to the Queen.
All the pre-schoolers were presented a commemorative book about the Queen’s life and a flag.
Tuesday’s event also marked the departure of Lucy Davies, who has worked at the pre-school since 2003 and has been supervisor for the past 10 years.
Her last day is Friday, June 17.
