A KNUTSFORD salon has celebrated its first year in business, raising more than £500 for charity with a party.
Nicholas Austen, which is located in King Street, marked its first anniversary on Friday, June 10 holding a raffle with prizes from Aveda, Nicholas Austen themselves and many other traders from the town.
The evening, of which all proceeds went to Macmillan Cancer Support, also included a talk from Peter Murray at Pulse of Perfumery, cakes from Mrs B’s and fizz from Corks Out.
The event was very well attended, and Ameilia Naylor, owner of Nicholas Austen, said: “'It's been a fabulous first year and we really couldn't have hoped for more. It's been lovely that so many of our customers and our local retailer friends have come to celebrate with us. We can't wait for year two.”
