WEST End LMR B won the battle of the Crewe Oddies Open League Premier Division Darts by beating promoted Willaston Club 5-3 to move 12 points clear. Third and fourth placed Cosey Club and Pioneers Club A drew their clash to stay in touch with Willaston, while Kings A picked up an excellent 6-2 win away at the Oddies.

Division One leaders Amalgamated B maintained their 100 per cent record with a 5-3 victory over Crown, allowing main challengers Cheshire Cheese to move closer after delivering a whitewash to the Hawk. Third-placed Nantwich Road returned to winning ways with a 7-1 demolition of Brunel Arms B.

White Lion Ford Lane are the new leaders of Division Two after their whitewash of hosts Woodside put them a point ahead of Bridge A, who beat Sydney Arms 5-3. Deposed leaders Raven’s match was postponed so they fall back to third but have a match in hand, while Rising Sun and Lady A both let slip 3-1 leads in their draws with Bridge C and Coppenhall Club respectively.

The top two in Division Three were both beaten as Swan & Chequers and Nags Head suffered 7-1 defeats of third placed Duke of Bridgewater B and White Lion Coppenhall respectively. Vine B forfeired a 3-1 lead in their draw at Nags Head B.

Runaway leaders Captain Webb increased their Division Four lead to a massive 15 points with a 6-2 win at Eight Farmers B, helped considerably by the drawn clash of main challengers Duke of Bridgewater C and West End Band A.

The Dominoes Premier Division has new leaders in the shape of Willaston Club, who overturned a 3-1 deficit to beat W/End LMR B 5-3, while Horse Shoe’s postponed match demoting them to second. Vine A remain third after drawing with Eight Farmers A, and head six chasing teams covered by just three points. Bottom placed Pioneers A let slip a 3-1 lead in their draw at Cosey Club.

The top four in Division One all clashed, with Hop Pole A moving to top spot after beating Amalgamated A 6-2 to demote them to second. Pioneers Club A close in on third placed Nantwich Road A after also hitting six, while Hawk recovered from 4-1 down to draw with Cheshire Cheese.

Division Two pacemakers White Lion Ford Lane were held 4-4 by third placed Woodside, so second placed Flying Lady A closed in on them after beating Coppenhall Club 5-3. Both Bridge teams were in generous moods by allowing opponents Sydney Arms and Rising Sun to overturn 3-1 deficits to salvage draws.

Nags Head A overcame a 3-1 deficit to win 5-3 at White Lion and remain top of Division Three, although the losers move up to second spot, two points clear of Flying Lady B who overcame a 3-1 scoreline to draw at Dishers Club A.

Division Four sees West End Band A taking over at the top by a point after their 6-2 win at Duke of Bridgewater C demoted the losers to second.
