AN East Cheshire charity is urging people to attend a free session to find out more about volunteering in the borough.
CVS (Community & Voluntary Services) Cheshire East is a registered charity which aims to build strong communities and inspire volunteers.
The group is holding an informative session at Knutsford Library on Monday, February 15 from 2pm to 4pm and an all-day session on Tuesday, February 16 at Booths supermarket.
A spokesperson for CVS Cheshire East said: “Volunteering is a fantastic way to give something back to your community and really helps you to get involved, make new friends and gain confidence. “There are plenty of volunteer roles that you can take part in for as much or as little time as you want to give. “If you have any questions about volunteering or are looking for a place to volunteer in and around Knutsford, then please pop in to one of our Drop-In’s. CVS Cheshire East recently launched its new Give5 volunteering campaign helping to promote volunteering in a small way to give people the chance to see if it suits them.
