HUNDREDS of art lovers flocked to Tatton Park last weekend to enjoy an artisan exhibition.
The Peak District Artisans event featured more than 45 of the region’s finest artists and designers.
It is the first time that the group has exhibited at Tatton Park, and it hopes to organise future events at the historic estate, particularly its 25th anniversary celebration in 2016.
Suzy Shackleton, organiser and PDA member, said: “I am delighted with the success of our first event at Tatton, it was fantastic to see so many different age groups admiring our work which shows PDA really does offer something for everyone.
“To be showing our work at one of Britain’s most complete historic estates was so exciting, and a great way to end our 2015 exhibition programme, before we embark on our special 25th anniversary next year.”
Throughout the weekend, a unique selection of creative products combining fine art, photography, furniture, ceramics, jewellery, textiles, wood-turning and more, were on display.
Visitors were also able to meet and talk to artists and designers about their work.
