A TATTON Park ranger is celebrating after being awarded two top prizes at this year’s Cheshire Ploughing Match.
Clemency West, who works in the grounds of the National Trust site, took home the award for ‘best hedgelaying’ as well as scooping the prize for the best growth of a hedge since last year’s competition.
Steve Ellis, who volunteers as a ranger at Tatton Park, said: “All of the rangers are highly qualified people. I didn’t appreciate how much they do until I saw for myself.”
The Cheshire Ploughing Match is an annual festival which this year celebrated its 92nd event.
