A LOWER Peover Church has recruited an international opera singer to provide entertainment at its next fundraiser.
At on Sunday August 30 at 2pm, St Oswald’s Church is holding an afternoon tea followed by music from esteemed vocalist, Linda Richardson at Birch Hall Farm in Lach Dennis.
Linda, who was part of the English National Opera and has sang on stages all over the world, will go back to her roots and perform at her parish’s charity event.
Lynda Boag-Munroe, an organiser of the event, said: “We are very grateful to Linda for supporting us in our endeavours.
“The fundraising is in order to build much needed toilets for the congregation and visitors to the beautiful church at Lower Peover.
Tickets for the event are £15, which includes a reception drink.
