GLAMOROUS ladies from Holmes Chapel will be dancing the night away in their best frocks to raise money for a charity close to their hearts.

Organised by the Bumps, Babes and Toddlers playgroup, based at Holmes Chapel Methodist Church, the ladies night on Saturday, July 11, will raise money to support The Rainbow Legacy House, the north's first rehabilitation centre for children with brain injuries.

The mums decided to raise money for the charity after one of the toddlers who attends the group, George Clark, contacted Meningitis shortly after birth and suffered brain damage as a result.

Emily Hunter, who has been organising the event, told the Guardian, that the group wanted to support the charity that was treating George.

"George contacted Meningitis shortly after birth and unfortunately, the result was brain damage and paralysis down his right side," she said.

"However, thanks to the amazing therapy he has been receiving at Rainbow House in Ormskirk he is making fantastic process and hitting developmental milestones.

"As a playgroup and a group of mums we decided that we wanted to support George's treatment so decided to hold this event."

The event is being sponsored by Holmes Chapel-based Blush Beauty Lounge which is providing an amazing prize for the most 'overdressed' lady on the night.

The evening is set for ladies to dress up in their best party dresses, enjoy an evening of fashion, cocktails, let their hair down and have fun.

The Ladies Night will feature a fashion show, cocktail bar, luxury raffle, stalls, photo booth, dancing and even naked waiters serving glasses of fizz.

It will be held at Cranage Village Hall, with the event aiming to raise more than £1,000 for Rainbow House.

Emily added: "Many local Holmes Chapel businesses have donated to our fantastic raffle and we're completely overwhelmed by the support we've been shown, especially from Blush Beauty Lounge which has generously sponsored our event."
