A KNUTSFORD man has been charged with possession and intent to supply Class A and Class B drugs at a property in Mobberley.

A 23-year-old man from Knutsford, was charged during the execution of a drugs warrant carried out in November last year.

Cocaine and cannabis were located inside the address in Mobberley as well as drugs paraphernalia and the 23-year-old, along with a 25-year-old man was arrested for possession and intent to supply.

Following extensive enquiries, the 23-year-old man has now been charged and will appear at Macclesfield Magistrate’s Court, while the other man has been cautioned for the possession of Class B drugs.

PC 5764 Chapman told the Guardian: “This has been a lengthy investigation resulting in what we believe to be the recovery of drugs that could well have been destined for the streets of Mobberley and Knutsford.

“Drug use and supply can have extremely negative impact on the community and members of the public are urged to report any suspicious activity in their area by contacting Cheshire Police on 101.”
