KNUTSFORD'S businesses have shown support for this year's Promenades event which will take place in the town later this summer.

In its third year, the Proms will take place in Canute Square and Princess Street on July 4.

"It's marvellous to see such positive support for KP2015 from our commercial sponsors and supporters," said Sarah Flannery.

"Combined with funding from Arts Council England, Cheshire East Council and Knutsford Town Council, this year's Texts from the Front event will be a fantastic street festival for the whole community to enjoy."

Wright Marshall, the Knutsford based long established Fine Art Saleroom, is very enthusiastic about this year's event.

"We consider supporting an arts event in our local town very important to us and are very excited about this great cultural event which we are delighted to sponsor," said Peter Ashburner, Wright Marshall Fine Art Director

William Woodhead, marketing manager of McLaren Manchester said: "It's always great when the community gets together for a celebration and we are really excited to be involved with the event.

"Art can be anything from creative imagination to human skill, that produces work to be appreciated primarily for their beauty or emotional power. Words that are truly fitting to the McLaren cars that are produced today!"

Andy Reid, ambassador for ABF The Soldiers Charity and Jim Duffy, briefing liaison officer for ABF The Soldiers Charity also met with the business sponsors.

"ABF The Soldiers Charity is supporting KP2015 and will be bringing along some special guests on the day of the Promenades," said Julie Tempest.

"The KP2015 team would also like to thank Bruntwood, Edmondson Electrical, Guy Salmon, Clare & Illingworth, the Makers Market, Meller Braggins, Hedgerow Photography, who are sponsoring this year's spectacular event."
