A KNUTSFORD restaurant will be going purple on May 11 to raise money for the Stroke Association.

Gusto on King Street will be holding a 'Sip for Stroke' coffee morning, and will open its doors between 9am and 11am with cakes and pastries on offer.

All proceeds will raise money for the charity.

Knutsford Stoke club members have been invited and the restuarant hopes that many of the local businesses and community will join them for a relaxed and enjoyable morning.

"We are very much looking forward to this event, and we have had great support from Prime Medica in Knutsford who have sponsored the event so that we can ensure that all proceeds from the morning go directly to the charity,” said Stefanie Meachin, business development manager.

Mirek Bulka, general manager, added: "Here at Gusto in Knutsford we are always happy to support as many charities as we can throughout the year, we hope that many of our diners will join us on the 11th to help raise as much as we can for The Stroke Association."
