AHEAD of this weekend's second Knutsford Beer Festival, organisers have announced the sponsors of their limited edition glasses.

Anyone lucky enough to have got a ticket for this weeks Knutsford Beer Festival will also be able to raise their very own limited edition glass thanks to sponsors Tatton Brewery and Beans Accounting and Business Support.

The festival, which takes place over the evening of Friday, April 24 and both the afternoon and evening of Saturday, April 25 at The Old Town Hall, has some 60 plus beers and ciders on offer, live entertainment and great food.

All those purchasing a ticket gain entry, a programme/tasting guide and a limited edition glass.

Tax Matters Accountants (TMA) – soon to be re-branded as Beans Accounting and Business Support - is a Cheshire-based specialists in small business and start-up accountancy services, and are one of this year’s glass sponsors.

“We might be spilling the beans about our imminent re-branding exercise to make us more modern and approachable, but we certainly don’t plan to be spilling any precious liquids at the fantastic Knutsford Beer Festival,” said TMA/Beans partner, Mike Braun, who has been personally involved with the organisation of this year’s festival.

In its second year, the Knutsford Beer Festival aims to raise the profile of both local brewers and local businesses and if the success of 2014 is anything to go by it’s sure to be a cracking festival and further justify a spot on Knutsford calendar of regular events.

Alongside Beans Accounting & Business Support as fellow glass sponsors are family-run and Knutsford-based Tatton Brewery who provided last years festival beer and this year have welcomed the opportunity to get involved again.

Gregg Sawyer, head brewer at Tatton Brewery, said: “After the highly successful inaugural Knutsford Beer Festival in 2014, Tatton Brewery were more than happy to sponsor the festival glasses. Only the finest glasses for the finest beer.”

As a not for profit event, the festival relies on the support of local businesses, but such has been the support in the past two years, the festival has actually raised enough profit to also donate to local charities.

Tickets for Friday and Saturday evening are now sold out but some still remain for the Saturday afternoon but you better move fast if you want to secure your ticket and glass.
