A MAN was taken to hospital today after apparently falling through the roof of premises in Knutsford town centre.
North West Ambulance Service said they received a call at 11.12am to say that someone had fallen through the roof in a property in King Street, and paramedics arrived on scene at 11.27am.
An ambulance service spokesman said a man in his 40s had suffered ankle and elbow injuries, and was taken by ambulance to Wythenshawe Hospital for treatment.
The spokesman added that an air ambulance was called to the scene, but was not required, and the man was conscious and breathing.
