AN expert chocolatier popped into a Knutsford sweet shop for a special pizza making session during the half term holiday's.

Oliver Dunn, creator of Oliver's Chocolate Parties, gave up his time and headed down to Mr Simms Olde Sweet Shoppe on Tuesday, February 17.

He helped children make their chocolate pizza in pizza boxes, which were then decorated with sweets provided by Mr Simms.

Eighty children came to the shop during the day to make their pizzas, with a donation request of £5 per child.

As a result the activity raised £400 – with all proceeds going to The Children's Adventure Farm Trust, based in Millington.

Julia Chard, manager of Mr Simms, said: "The event was a massive success with fantastic feedback, my Mr Simms Olde Sweet Shoppe Knutsford Facebook page has been buzzing with many requests for a repeat, which I will definitely be arranging in the near future.

"I'd like to say a big thank you to Oliver Dunn and to all the lovely families who took part.

"Mr Simms Knutsford will be celebrating its sixth birthday, trading on King Street later in the year, it's fantastic that we have become well established within the Knutsford community and would like to thank our customers for their continued support.

"As an active member of the retailer group, it's great to be involved in arranging various community events, the next one will be the Knutsford Bunny Hop at Easter, with details to be announced shortly."
