FIREFIGHTERS tackled a blaze that broke out in an oxidising unit at a wall coverings company in Holmes Chapel this afternoon, Thursday.
The incident took place at Fine Art Wallcoverings on Macclesfield Road 12.10pm.
The fire was contained in the unit, with no surrounding buildings affected.
Firefighters from Holmes Chapel and Congleton used a hose reel jet and a covering jet to put out the fire and cool ducting.
The temperature in the oxidiser was reduced and a thermal imaging camera was used to check there were no further hot spots of fire inside or outside the ducting.
The incident was then handed over to site engineers.
