Cheshire Police remind motorists to be careful as ice and snow showers forecast for this evening
CHESHIRE Police are reminding motorists to take extra care while out on the roads this evening.
As weather conditions improve following the heavy snow showers this morning, gritters and snow ploughs continue to work across the county to clear the roads.
Police would like to thank motorists and everyone involved in minimising disripution to the road network.
The forecast for this evening shows a cold, clear night which may bring ice and occasional snow showers.
While the showers are not expected to be as severe as this morning, it is advised that motorists driving tonight exercise caution and allow extra time for journeys.
