Holmes Chapel road closed for emergency sewer repairs
AN emergency closure has been put in place on a Holmes Chapel road to allow for sewer repairs to take place.
Cheshire East Council closed Eastgate Road, from Sycamore Close for about 100 metres east of the junction, today, Thursday, and it is expected that the stretch will remain closed until Wednesday February 4.
Motorists are advised to use an alternative route via Eastgate Road and Sandiford Road.
Residential access to the road will be maintained where possible.
