KNUTSFORD’s mayor is hoping to give his fundraising pot an extra boost with a night of ‘fyne’ dining in the town next month.
Knutsford businesses and residents are invited to join Knutsford Town Mayor, Clr Neil Forbes, for the last of his Munch with the Mayor events at Loch Fyne, on King Street, on Wednesday January 7.
The event is part of the mayor’s calendar of fundraising events for his charity and good cause; Knutsford GROW and St John’s Wood Lunch Club.
Coinciding with his birthday celebrations, Clr Forbes said he was excited about hosting the event. He said: “It’s going to be an amazing evening and my thanks go to Loch Fyne for putting together a fantastic menu with such an array of dishes; it’s really hard to know what to choose.”
A raffle will be held on the night and the lucky winners can look forward to meal at Loch Fyne, a gift from Pulse of Perfumery or concert tickets to the International Concert Series at the Bridgewater Hall.
