AFTER carving out a spooktacular event last year, Knutsford businesses will be back with a bigger, better and more bewitching Pumpkin Path this Halloween.

Many of the town’s businesses will have a ‘spell-binding’ display in their window for the frightfully fun 2015 event, which will take place on Friday October 31 from 5-8pm.

The displays will house a special pumpkin with a letter carved into them, with young Knutsfordians taking part in a town-wide quest to find all the letters to spell out ‘KNUTSFORDHALLOWEEN’.

There will be ‘trick or treat’ stops along the way, with lots of spooky surprises in store, including a major surprise in Canute Place at 7pm.

Stefanie Meachin, Gusto’s business development manager, came up with the idea last year.

“This year I am so excited to see the Pumpkin Path taking place in Knutsford again, people are already asking questions and letting us know they are coming,” she said.

“Only this year it will be bigger and better; with a great enthusiastic team behind the event it’s going to be an amazing evening.”

For safety reasons, King Street will be closed from 6pm on the day of the event.
